Winsel Love has been in the boating industry for over 50 years. In the mid-1970s, he started working at his father’s business, Valdosta Marine Center.
Winsel worked there until the business closed its doors in the early 1980s. He then took a sales and service position at Don’s Boats and Motors. In 2002, Don’s Boats and Motors was sold to A.D. and Alan Holt and was renamed Diamond Eagle Marine.
Winsel continued working with the Holts and became one of their key employees. Winsel and his wife Tami purchased the business from the Holts in 2009, as they had decided to leave the boating industry.
Although the name has changed throughout the years, the constant in the business has been Winsel Love. And so it only seemed fitting to rename the business Winsel’s Boats.
